DAY 2 Vietnam: Da Nang

Writer's picture: Ellie NikolovskiEllie Nikolovski

I started Day 2 with another visit to Table 88 (for the buffet of course :D) and ate baked beans, 2 croissants and four little hash browns washed down with a latte , (yes i sure love my coffee ). Afterwards, I took a cab to Vincom Plaza, in Downtown Da Nang, a shopping centre and had a brief look around, before walking to “Dragon Bridge” located over the Han River. At night fire even comes out of the Dragon’s mouth!.

I then walked through Han Riverside, where there are a lot of traditional Vietnamese boats and a massive yacht called “Happy Yacht” which features a nightclub!. Shortly afterwards, I went to “Wannatel” where I enjoyed some lovely tea and was kindly offered a refill by staff. After the teas, I continued walking through the area, before going to the taxi rank and getting a taxi back to the hotel.Because I have become hooked on ginger tea , I helped my self to one before going for a refill and enjoying a second one . I then settled in my room for the afternoon, soaking up the views on the balcony.

The day was finished off with a very satisfying feed at the trendy Green House restaurant at the Hyatt Regency, I had a margarita pizza for entree , spaghetti with chilli and garlic , topped off with a very delicious chocolate mousse!.

Below are some photos taken throughout the day :)
